The Mediterranean Antiquities Provenance Research Alliance (MAPRA) brings together subject matter experts, academics, museum professionals, and data scientists to create transparency around academic collections. MAPRA is an initiative of the Foundation for Ethical Stewardship of Cultural Heritage (FESCH) and is funded by a generous grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.*

The Tier II grant from the NEH Division of Preservation and Access supports the development of standards and testing of a protocol to research the histories of poorly documented antiquities in academic collections.
